What is more importnat - Society or religion?

There is a plot near to CCD, CMH Road in Indiranagar. I am watching from last one year or so that the owner tried everything to make sure people don't dump waste in front of that. He tried writing about the people involved in dumping, requesting them for not doing and threatening them for taking legal action but nothing worked.

Today, I noticed that he painted the wall of the plot and cemented pictures of gods on that. Do you think it will work? I think so. I am dieing to see the result of this action.

The owner must have been advised by some politician friend for sure who would have told him how to use religion for our purposes. But I have a question to do research, do we really worship the God and religion we believe in or it is just because of fear and show-off?

If I am not wrong, every religion says humanity is above everything and one can please the God by serving the humanity. But do we really do that? We go to temples/churches/mosques or any place to pray regularly but as soon as we come out of the sacred place, we forget everything.

I think, it is the time to do the introspection about ourselves. How many times do we disrespect, embarrass or hate the creativity of same natural power whom we worship. Don't you think that we need to be more practical (not sure if this is the correct word ) in this sense and try to be ourselves.

If we really believe in Him and His creation then by no means we can do such nasty things in our life. Yes, we can have people with whom our thoughts/actions/believes don't resonate but I guess there is always a better way.

I hope, you will think about it at least for a minute and will look around.

Burka ban in Karnataka

Recently there was a news that burqas are going to be banned inside classrooms of Karnataka colleges. This decision is another ridiculous in the list of funny decisions heard in Bangalore.

We are living in a secular country where everyone has the right to follow any religion s/he wishes. How can someone put restrictions on anybody when it comes to her/his religion. It is an attack on one's personal rights, individual rights and fundamental rights provided by the Indian Constitution.

Why don't govt. concentrate on real issues in the country rather than creating such lame issues and disturbing the peace here? I guess, there are plenty of works to do in every city of this country but nobody wants to put their hands in the dust because they don't have any real intentions to make this country a better place. It is all political game and I pity on those individuals (specially from so-called educated class) who get provoked by such decisions and announcements.

We need to be calm and ignore such activities.

SRK Security Check in USA

Who will take the guarantee of celebrities that they are not involved in any of terrorist activities? Don't we have celebrities involved in past activities? Can we deny the possibility of any other name in this list?

These questions knocked me when I heard about the SRK security check in USA. All of us know that he is a nice gentleman and none of us would believe if he will be involved in any terrorist activities. The officials were doing their duty on the airport as instructions given to them by their superiors. Why to take this act as an incident of insult and make a fuss out of it? What a big deal if executives on airport didn't know SRK? There was an incident in past with one of my friend.

One of my friend was traveling in a train where he met one of our college senior. As they talked and figured out that they are from same college. The senior got shocked that my friend didn't know her so she asked him, "Being a recker, how is it possible that you don't know me?". My friend answered simply, "I am sure you don't know me so how can you expect that I will know you?".

Same case with any person including any celebrity. If the other person knows the celebrity then it is well and good but s/he can't expect every single person on earth to know her/him and respect her/him in the same way as s/he gets from her/his fans.

Yes, if we question that selecting a person of a particular race or religion is not fair then it might make sense but sorry not because this check got some celebrity in the nest.
